Matt Bowser GBN Athletic Director

The winter is coming to an end and spring as in sight as we wrap up our winter sports season and prepare for the spring.  I would like to say thank you to everyone from this winter for all of their hard work and dedication to Glenbard North Athletics.

We are enjoying another successful winter season here at Glenbard North High School.  Our varsity girls’ gymnastics team is undefeated in dual competitions and looking to bring home another DVC conference title.  The wrestling program continues to compete against some of the toughest competition in the country as build for another post season run.  Good luck to both of these teams as they prepare for state competition.

Our girls and boys basketball teams continue to improve as we look to finish the season strong.  Good luck to each of them as they prepare for regional play in the next few weeks.  If you have not been out to a game come out and support our teams as they demonstrate the sportsmanship and pride of the Panther athletic programs.

Also congratulations to our Cheerleading program as they have qualified for state in ICCA competition and look to make a second appearance in the IHSA state finals.  We will also have boys swimmers who compete in IHSA sectionals this year.  We wish these individuals good luck as they represent our school and our athletic program.

Also a reminder as our spring season begins.  All schedule changes can be found on our athletic website at http://www.athletics2000.com/glenbardNorth/.  We do our best to update any schedule changes due to weather conditions by 2:00 PM the day of the competition.
