Well we are down to the last week of finalizing everything for our 6th Annual JP Fun Run. We hope you've marked your calendars for this Sunday Sept. 5th. This year promises to be another GREAT day starting with our 5K Run/Walk followed by our Southern Pig Roast cookout. Then there's the Bags tournament, GREAT raffles prizes, awards, music for all ages and a face painter that will put a smile on your face .Hope to see you all there and check us out in this Friday's Daily Herald!
For all the people who have contacted me about donating items or volunteering on Sunday; first of all THANK YOU! Words cannot express how much your kindness and generosity mean to us. As I've said before without YOU, PATT would not succeed.
For those of you who are donating food, beverages, or raffle items. Please make sure that I get them no later than Sat. I need to take a final tally of all my raffle gifts and supplies in order to THANK everyone properly at the Run. For those of you who have volunteered to bring ice & coolers the day of the Run; please try and get them to the park before the Run begins. We have alot of items to keep cool. THANKS!
Lastly to all of you WONDERFUL volunteers; please meet us up at the park between 8:15-8:30. We can assign tasks once people get there. If any of you want to stop by the house and help transport items to the park that would be greatly appreciated!
Well I just checked the extended forecast for Sunday and as usual Jon's going to make sure its going to be a BEAUTIFUL day. The forecast is stating mid to upper 70's and NO rain! PERFECT Fun Run weather!
