Step 3 - Show-up when your scheduled

Show up for the event information

Please show up as early as you can before an event, but no less than thirty (30) minutes to allow for an organized transition between volunteer crews as a courtesy to those who need to go watch their sons or daughters perform when opening. After the event, plan to stay around and help close and clean-up by staying one hour to one-half hour after the event. Try and make other arrangments for your child to go home after the event for homework to allow you to help out.

OPENING AN EVENT:

Someone who is in charge will help you get started. Check-in by signing the log before you start. We need to unpack candy that is refrigerated, set-up food tables, heat water, wrap pizza, make popcorn, and mix hot chocolate for delivery.

CLOSING AN EVENT:

Coolers need to be restocked and prepared for the next event, serving equipment must be cleaned and returned to storage. All surfaces must be cleaned and sanitized.

Step 4 - Check to make sure your hours are credited monthly

Check your hours by opening this spreadsheet (in EXCEL Format). You will need to print it out or zoom in to see it clearly. Verify that you have credited for the proper amount of hours. If there are any discrepancies, contact Ellen Watkins on her email at ellen@gbnboosters.com and explain what you should have. She will research the issue with the appropriate people and get back to you. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF GBN PANTHER SPORTS!
